Procell Micro Channeling is an advanced skin treatment that uses a stamping device to create thousands of microchannels in the skin, allowing growth factor serums to penetrate deeply and stimulate the skin's natural healing and collagen production process. It is used to treat fine lines, scarring, hyperpigmentation, skin laxity, and overall skin health. Results build over a series of treatments and continue to improve for weeks after each session.
Please inform us before your appointment if you have any of the following:
This helps us customize your treatment and ensure the best and safest results for your skin.
• Active cold sore or fever blister.
• Sunburn or recent sun damage on the face.
• Open wounds, cuts, or active skin infection on the face.
• Active acne breakout or inflamed cystic acne.
• Blood clotting disorders or current use of blood thinners.
• Pregnancy.
• Accutane use in the last 12 months.
• Recent facial surgery.
• Active autoimmune condition currently flaring.
• Keloid scarring history.
Procell Micro Channeling results are cumulative and build with each session. A series of 3–6 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart is recommended for best results. Maintenance treatments every 2–3 months after your initial series will help sustain your results long term. What you do at home between appointments significantly impacts your results — your technician will recommend a home care routine tailored to your skin.
2 Weeks Before — Don't:
• No laser, IPL, or any other resurfacing treatments on the face.
• No injectables including Botox or fillers — wait at least 2 weeks before your micro channeling appointment.
• No electrolysis treatments.
• No tanning beds or excessive sun exposure.
1 Week Before — Don't:
• No retinol, retin-a, tretinoin, or retinoids of any kind on the face, neck, or chest.
• No exfoliating acids including AHA, BHA, or glycolic acid on the face.
• No vitamin C serums or other active ingredients on the face.
• No blood thinners or anti-inflammatory medications such as ibuprofen, aspirin, or naproxen if possible — these can increase bleeding and bruising. Consult your doctor before stopping any prescribed medication.
• No alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment — alcohol thins the blood and can increase sensitivity and bruising.
48 Hours Before — Don't:
• No waxing, threading, or facial hair removal.
• No dermaplaning or other exfoliating facial treatments.
• No shaving the face.
Day Of Your Appointment — Don't:
• No active skincare products, serums, or treatments on the face the morning of your appointment.
• No caffeine the morning of your appointment if possible — it can increase skin sensitivity.
Day Of Your Appointment — Do:
• Arrive with a completely clean, makeup-free face.
• Let your technician know about any new medications, supplements, skin changes, or health changes since your last visit.
• Arrive well hydrated — drink plenty of water before your appointment.
• Arrive 5–10 minutes early.
What to expect:
Your skin will appear red and may feel warm, tight, and sensitive immediately after your treatment — similar to a mild sunburn. This is completely normal and is a sign the treatment is working. Redness typically subsides within 24–72 hours. Minor swelling, pinpoint marks, and skin sensitivity are all normal in the first 24–48 hours. Your skin may feel dry and tight as it heals. Results continue to improve over the following 4–6 weeks as collagen production increases.
Don't:
• Do not touch your face unnecessarily for the first 24 hours — your hands carry bacteria and the microchannels are open.
• No makeup for at least 24 hours after your treatment. When you resume, use clean brushes and non-comedogenic products only.
• No retinol, retinoids, exfoliating acids, AHA, BHA, vitamin C, or any active ingredients for at least 5–7 days after your treatment.
• No direct sun exposure for at least 72 hours. Apply SPF 30 or higher if you must be outside and wear a hat.
• No heavy workouts, saunas, steam rooms, or hot showers for at least 48 hours — heat and sweat can irritate the skin and introduce bacteria to open channels.
• No swimming in pools, lakes, or the ocean for at least 72 hours.
• No waxing, threading, dermaplaning, laser, chemical peels, or any other resurfacing treatment for at least 2 weeks after your treatment.
• No injectables including Botox or fillers for at least 2 weeks after your treatment.
• No tanning beds for at least 4 weeks after your treatment.
• Do not pick, scratch, or peel any flaking skin — let it heal naturally.
• No anti-inflammatory medications such as ibuprofen or aspirin for at least 24 hours after your treatment as they can interfere with the healing response.
Do:
• Keep your skin clean and moisturized.
• Apply SPF every single day without exception — your skin is extremely vulnerable to sun damage after micro channeling.
• Stay hydrated and drink plenty of water to support the healing process.
• Sleep on a clean pillowcase the night of your treatment.
• Let your technician know immediately if you experience any unusual reactions, excessive swelling, or signs of infection.
